How about staying in a quiet west end neighborhood just outside Oslo? A room in this private house offers a respite from the hustle and bustle with easy access to the city center as well as the Norwegian Woods.
The metro (1 min away) brings you on a regular interval into town in about 12 min. Small shopping centre, coffee place at walking distance (10 min) and pizzeria (1min). The endless hiking/bicycle/skiinig trails are right at your doorstep so is the beautiful and exclusive lake of “Båntjern” and “Vettakolltoppen”´s panoramic view over the city, fjord and forest. The house is situated near Holmenkollen (10 min by metro) and the new ski jump, ski simulator and museum. In the winter, the popular sledding of “Korketrekkeren” is a must if you love an adrenalin rush on the tobbogan run right next to the original bobsleigh run from the 1952 Olympic games.

The cozy house is shared with the host and her family and possible other guests but the rooms are private. Please note the presence of a sweet social female cat so check if you are not allergic.
The room is comfortable and the beds are real beds (double bed or lovebed (130 cm) depending on availability with option of an extra single bed (max 3 p). Bathroom and toilet private or shared with the host or other possible guests depending on availability. Max 5 p (extra bunk beds available in separate room).
Breakfast is upon request but you have access to the kitchen for small cooking at reasonable hours. Also access to the garden, terrace, garden furniture and barbecue. Free parking and free WiFi. Washing machine available with small fee. No indoor smoking.

The price is 250 nok pp per night. Bed linen and towels not included (50 nok + 20 nok per set per stay). Sleeping bags allowed. Supplement of 100 nok for a single room.
