We have a list of people who rent out rooms from their private homes. Prices varies and start around 250 NOK a night for a bed in a shared room. We do not mean to be pessimistic but finding a bed in Oslo for less than 200 NOK is more or less impossible.
When booking a room the e-mail is forwarded to the person renting out the specific room. This means that there may be a waiting time. Also keep in mind that you’re about to rent a room in someones private home so common sense, decency and kindness is encouraged.

Two rooms available. One room with double bed. Insane 70´s wall paper with purple flowers. Possible to put in one extra bed. May be used for 1-3 people. NOK 250 per person per night. One big room with double bed. May put in one extra double bed. Very regal in red and gold. May be used for 1-4 people. NOK 250 per person per night. All rooms have access to kitchen, bathroom and living room. The person who rents speaks English and Spanish. Occasional in-door smoking, but only in the living room. Access to garden. Bed linen, towel, tea and coffee included. Bathtub and shower. Three minutes to nearest supermarket, open 08-23. Just behind the Royal Castle. Laid-back atmosphere. I am sometimes fostermother for rescue-cats from the Norwegian Organization for the protection of Animals. Sometimes I may have a cat who is a little nervous, but they all need human contact. For people who are allergic this may not be the best place to stay.

Beautiful bedroom in artistic appartement for rent. Double bed, 160cm, minimalistically furnished, facing quiet and beautiful backyard, where you can also enjoy your breakfast and dinner in peaceful circumstances. Accsess to shared kitchen and bathroom with all facilities. No smoking inside. The appartment is situated right behind the royal castle, and close to the Vigeland park. Beautiful area with old buildings. Good connections to buses and trams in all directions. Ten minute walk through castle park to the midcentre. Bikes available for rent, good streetparking facilities. Aslo rent plain bedroom with a 120cm bed, one loft bed 90cm and two extra matresses. Also facing quiet backyard. Accsess to internet and art books.

1 room available. The room has a double bed (1.20 m wide). The room may be used by 1-3 persons. The room is about 20 square metres, woth a big window, and a lot of day light. Spacy atmosphere with abput 4 metres to the roof. NOK 250 per person per night. The room has access to bathroom, with shower and toilet (shared with 1 person). It is possible to “make a bathroom reservation” the night before for an exact time, so we won`t risk any bathroom queue.
No smoking allowed in-door. Bed linen and towel included, and it is possible to borrow washing machine. The bathroom has a shower and toilet.
Very central located in the multi-cultural area of Tøyen/ Grønland. Only 5 minutes to walk to Tøyen tube station. Alle tubes stop at Tøyen tube station, so this is very convenient. Only 5 minutes to walk to Grønland main street, with shops, tube (station Grønland), and international restaurants, pubs etc. Only 2 minutes by tube to Oslo Central Station/Jernbanetorget. Only 15 minutes to walk to the main street of Oslo (Karl Johans street), Oslo Bus terminal and Oslo central station. Bus or train from/ to the airport will stop at Oslo Bus terminal or Oslo Central Station. 15 minutes to walk to the area of “Grunerløkka”, with a lot of shops and bars. There is a convinient store in the first floor, and 3 others within 5 minutes to walk. The room is on the 4th floor. Within 5 minutes walk there is a large park/ garden open for everyone (“Botanisk hage”). There are no kitchen facilities/ cooking possibilities. I look forward to see you!

A private room in this house is a great way to experience the city of Oslo, combined with endless options of hiking/walking/skiing trails in the outstanding immediate nature surrounding Oslo. Trails just start at the end of the road.
The house is located in the popular quiet neighborhood of Holmenkollen, 10 min from the word famous ski jump, near the metro station of Vettakollen, 15 min walk from the authentic lake of Båntjern and 15 min from downtown Oslo.
The house is shared with the host and family. The guests can use many common areas and features of the house: kitchen, garden, terrace, parking, wifi. Other features are bed linen and towels, washing machine, printer.
This is a great experience for travelers combining the discovery of the city and Norway with a warm, economic and cozy house in a family atmosphere.

The person who rents speaks English, Italien, French, Polish and some Spanish. No in-door smoking. Astray outside in the garden, surrounded by quiet friendly park. Two minutes to nearest supermarket, open 09-22. Just 5 minutes by bus(several) from Oslo central station, nearby Alexander Kiellands plass. Laid-back atmosphere.

Although I have no pictures of my room (they should be on their way soon), I can assure you that the room I have to offer is really nice and comfortable and affording lots of privacy. Spacious double room overlooking back yard of first floor turn of the century flat in Torshov. Possibilty to add a folding bed if required. Bed linnen and towels included. The price for the room is 500 NOK per night regardless of how many. Shared bathroom, kitchen where one can cook and eat breakfast and other meals (with possibility to store food in fridge or cupboard) and lounge. Congienial back yard where one may enjoy a barbeque. Torshov is well connected to the rest of Oslo and is 15 minutes away by bus from Vigelands Park, 12 minutes by tram from Oslo Central Station, 18 minutes by tram from Aker Brygge. Friendly hostess fluent in English, Italian and French.

Welcome to a nice stay in Oslo Norway!
Comfortable room with sharing of bathroom. Breakfast not included, but access to kitchen.
If you want to stay cheap and central this is the place for you. Enerhaugen is situated on a small hill in the center,and you will have a panoramic view of the city. On Enerhaugen it is quiet, with a vivid life in the area below.
