Student flats

If you are staying for a month or more in the tourist season, it is possible to sublet a student flat. Advertisements for flats are usually in Norwegian. You can search on the Internet on these sites: Finn, Hybel, Bofellesskap. Also check out the boards at the OsloUniversity, Blindern.

One month hire is normally around NOK 3-4000, a deposit is usually required. Also check out with your Norwegian friends or relatives if they know of vacant student flats.

Nordnorsken is a student house. Here you can rent rooms all summer, from NOK 200 for a night to NOK 4600 for two months. The longer the stay, the bigger the discount. They charge an additional NOK 50 percent if two people share one room.
